How To Succeed as a Free-Surfer in Traffic Exchanges

Most traffic exchanges will allow you to join as a free member.

However, as a free member you will have restrictions placed on your membership.

If we take Traffic Splash as an example, as a Free Splasher you will qualify for:

  • 3 to 1 surf ratio
  • 10% commission on upgrades
  • 10% commission on credits and impressions
  • 5% credits for every page your referrals surf.

However by upgrading to a pro-membership for just $9.97 per month you qualify for:

  • 1 to 1 surf ratio
  • 50% commission on upgrades
  • 10% commission on credits and impressions
  • 5% credits for every page your referrals surf PLUS
  • 500 monthly credits
  • 2500 monthly banner impressions and
  • 2500 monthly text link impressions.

So as you can see, a monthly membership of just $9.97 can make a big difference to how much you can get out of a traffic exchange, and just two referrals at 50% commissions and your membership is paid for anyway.

For now we will assume that you just don't have the money to invest in a pro membership and that free surfing is your only option.

This article will focus on how to maximize your surfing time in TEs, and is just as relevant if you are surfing as a paid member.

The objective of a traffic exchange is to have you, the surfer, check out other people's websites, splash pages, banner ads and text ads.

We will continue with Tezak Traffic Power as our example TE.

When you log into the members area you will see a navigation bar running down the left hand side of the page.

Click on the Start Surfing button.

This will take you to the surf bar.

It will look similar to this.

This may look confusing at first if you are new to traffic exchanges, however the elements are quite easy to use.

The Surfbar icons at the top of the page are the main element for you to concentrate on.

Before the surfbar icon shows, you will see an 8 second countdown timer.

When you have viewed the website shown for 8 seconds the surfbar icon appears.

You will notice that two of the surfbar icon images will match.

Click on one of the matching images and you will be shown the next website.

WARNING!

What you musn't do is start clicking on any ads or websites.

This will steal your time and you will lose focus on your goal, which is to build up as much credit as possible as fast as possible.

You will also become prone to shiny ball syndrome. That is, always looking at the next big thing instead of focusing on building your own opportunities with Build a Biz Online.

Multi Tab Surfing

This strategy will greatly speed up your surfing activities and reduce the risk of falling prey to shiny ball syndrome.

With the multi tab surfing strategy you have each of your traffic exchanges open in separate tabs on your browser.

You can click on the surfbar icon in one exchange and then instead of waiting for the timer to countdown you just move onto the next exchange that you have open in another tab.

Repeat the process in all of your exchanges and then return to the first exchange.

By now the timer has finished and you can just go through the process again.

In this way you can quickly build up credits in all of your traffic exchanges in one session.

Then all you have to do is assign your newly earned credits to your Easy Success Club capture page, banners and text ads.

To your success and prosperity
