How To Use Traffic Exchanges as a Fully Paid Member

As a fully paid member of a traffic exchange you will automatically be awarded a certain number of credits per month.

As a pro member of Traffic Splash, for example, your $9 per month subscription will net you:

• 500 credits

• 2500 banner impressions and

• 2500 text ad impressions

You need to assign these credits and impressions to your own advertisements.

Capture Page Views

Your objective with this traffic exchange strategy is to get eyeballs on your Build a Biz Online lead capture page.

Each page view will typically cost you one credit.

How To Add Your Capture Page to a Traffic Exchange

We strongly recommend that you create a tracking link for every advertising source that you use.

If you are not clear on using the ad tracker tool then watch the training videos in the BABO back office. Don't panic! There is nothing difficult about this process and it will save you much heartache in the long run.

Create a seperate tracking link for your Build a Biz Online capture page to use with each Traffic Exchange.

Log in to a traffic exchange. We will use Tezak Traffic Power for this example.

From the navigation bar choose �My Websites�.

Step one is to add your website.

This is where you add the tracker code that you should have created.

Alternatively just add your capture page url.

Step two is to assign credits.

All of your available credits should be assigned to getting page views for your capture page, rather than banner or text ad impressions.

Once you have added your capture page link you will see it listed like this.

You can manually assign your credits in the little box marked �Credits to assign�.

Alternatively you can use the �One Click Power Assign� function button.

Adding Banners

As a paid subscriber to Tezak Traffic Power you will have been awarded 2500 banner impressions.

You need to add a banner to make use of these impressions.

You will need to use a 468 x 60 full banner in each traffic exchange. For example:

Choose which ever banner you prefer.

At Tezak Traffic Power choose �My Banners� from the menu.

About half way down the page you will see a little box like this:

This is where you add your banner details.

The �ad url� that you need to add is the banner source url that is provided with the image. For example:

http://buildabizonline.com/banners/1.gif

This will add the banner image to the traffic exchange.

The �site url� that you need to add is your Build a Biz Online capture page.

Again we recommend that you create a tracker link and you use that rather than the actual url.

Now when anyone clicks on the banner at Tezak Traffic Power they will be redirected to your capture page and the ad tracker knows the source of the traffic.

You also need to give the banner a name. Make it something relevant to the ad, e.g. Tezak Banner Ad #01.

Your banner will have to be approved by admin before it goes live but this shouldn't take long.

You can now assign your impressions as you did earlier for your capture page credits.

Adding Text Ads

In Tezak Traffic choose �My Text Ads� from the menu.

Again, half way down the page you will find a little box like this:

Put your ad details in here.

The �ad url� is your Build a Biz Online capture page url.

As always we strongly recommend that you track this ad using an ad tracker link rather than the actual url.

In the �ad text� section you write your ad text. This can be anything you want that you think will intrigue people enough to want to click through to your capture page.

For example:  �Your Success Starts Here�.

Again the ad name just needs to be something relevant and meaningful to you e.g. �Tezak Text Ad 01�.

Again the ad will have to be approved but you can assign your impressions in the usual way.

You now need to add your capture page and ads to your other traffic exchanges.

Set up and Leave

We appreciate that this process takes some time to set up.

However, it is a set up and leave alone strategy.

Once you have the ads set up you can just leave it alone and refocus your attention on another marketing strategy.

The only work you will have to do is to assign new credits as you acquire them.
