Do Users Really See Your Advertising?

Most TE owners will tell you that their TE is delivering thousands of hits to active users.

     

I decided yesterday to go fishing.. err surfing for hits. I needed a few additional hits to keep my sites in view. 

Step 1:

Set my browser to open all in a new window.

Step 2: 

Minimize my browser so I could have about 6 windows open and visible.

Step 3:

Open 6 TE sites, login and start the surf.

  

I spent about an hour and accumulated several hundred hits per sites. How many sites did I see? Not a one. Only the timer and surf bar were visible.

  

Now you tell me... How useful was that session to you if you happen to be a member?  Again I ask: Do users actually see your advertising?
