Article Writing Process

The process involved with writing any article begins with a particular idea or topic that you research,
draw out a general outline of the topic, then produce a rough draft and continue to edit until you produce
a final refined written article.

You should research your desired subject matter and be aware of the audience you intend to address.
Before you begin to plan writing an article be sure to match your writing level with your audience.Writing
at a level for a college student is much different than for a sixth or seventh grader.  

Before you proceed to write be sure to identify the needs of your readers. Ask yourself; what do
you think or sense your readers need to know? Do you feel that your own knowledge on the topic
is sufficient enough to convey the information they need? Confidence in the knowledge of your chosen
subject is the easiest way for you to find a topic to write about. Remember you can extensively research
any type of information that you do not know, so be encouraged and stay confident.

I must stress this element of article writing: Be Original, Be Unique because if you are writing on a topic
that everybody; including one's own dear mother is writing about you need to add a different touch or tone
into the article. Write in a way that no one has ever written about the topic before. Bring new ideas to
the topic plus make suggestions or offer information that other people may not have; plus utilize a more
visual approach, or any number of other methods of altering the material in your written article.

It is important to write about topics you truly believe in and are passionate about so that it resonates
throughout your article. You should care about the topic you choose to write about. Your enthusiasm
will show in your writing and it will be much more engaging for your readers. You may even be able
to make them care about something they did not care about previously, like current events or historical
concepts. This will appeal and attract readers and keep them coming back to read more.
