This Music Video features two legends performing a fantastic song.

George Jones duet with Dolly Parton on 'The Blues Man'
is my favourite track from the 2005 album Hits I Missed & One I Didnt .
Like George, Dolly has developed a rawer edge to her trademark tones,
and this makes for a memorable performance, which I am sure you will like..

Hank Williams Jr. is the original writer of "Blues Man"
he also preformed it and his song released Jan. 1, 1980

GEORGE GLENN JONES was born in 1931 in the East Texas town of Saratoga.
As a kid he sang for tips on the streets of nearby Beaumont.
By age 24, he had been married twice, served in the Marines
and was a veteran of the Texas honky-tonk circuit.

By most accounts, George Jones was the finest vocalist
in the recorded history of country music.
Initially, he was a hardcore honky tonker in the tradition of Hank Williams,
but over the course of his career he developed an affecting, ballad style.
In the course of his career, he never left the top of the country charts,
even as he suffered innumerable personal and professional difficulties.

Jones continued to perform into the 2010s, but was hospitalized in Nashville
in April 2013 for fever and irregular blood pressure and never left the hospital;
he died on April 26th.

Best Wishes
