When you are writing an article for publication you need to capture the interest of your audience. As the writer you need to have a firm grasp of their interests and with the subject matter you must pique their curiosity so they keep reading.
The main ingredient in Article writing is creativity. Although, creativity comes natural to some for many others it is a stuggle. Putting words into images in the readers mind is an art. A clear and consise depiction requires art that only creativity is able to provide. Both similes and metaphors help, but the way an article is entwined from beginning to end in the entire work develops the essence of the article itself.
For those writers that find a writers block is in their way there are some simple steps to get those creative juices flowing. Of course, nothing can guarantee that you will come up with the perfect idea or that you will be in the perfect mindset, but, achieving that state of mind is not as hard as you may think.
Some of the things that you can do to get your creative juices flowing is Keep a journal, relax and take time for yourself, create a work place that inspires creativity, set the mood, or go on a getaway.
Why keep a journal? Well, ideas can be triggered by anything you may hear, see or smell. It is your senses that is your radar for finding great ideas. Write each idea you get into your journal and keep it with you always so that you can refer back to it time and time again. Also, write down anything that you have heard or read. Ideas can come from anywhere. Your creativity, through the development of the idea will make it unique.
Always remember to realx and take the time to sort things out. A cluttered mind simply cannot be a creative mind. To have creativity at warp speed takes a clear mind. Rid yourself of all obstacles that can hinder your creativity. A troubled mind cannot stay focused and you need to focus on the writing task at hand. Relaxing gives you time to think about all of your
experiences. It is our experiences that shape our mindset and opinions, which could easily be reflected in our writings.
Take the time to discover yourself. Just what triggers your emotions? What is it that makes you mad as well as what makes you happy are important in your journey to creativity. You can use your emotions to help you express yourself and your ideas, which leads you to creativity.
Be sure to develop a work place that will inspire creativeness. You need a workplace that makes you feel happy and relaxed. Since creativity comes from ones state of mind, an inviting, friendly, warm workplace will insure that there are no distractions to hinder the flow of your own creative juices. Also, surround your workplace with objects that make you happy. Pictures, scents, objects that inspire you, and anything else you may think of in order to bring on your creativeness.
Set the mood. Just go with the moment or induce yourself into feeling what makes your mind work best. If you know just what makes you tick it could help you find ways to bring on your creative juices. Set both, the pace and tempo for your mood and everything else will fall into place. You can set the mood in a variety of ways. Some writers have used alcohol, music or lighting to create the mood.
You can, also, go on a getaway or mini vacation and just do something spur of the moment. Letting yourself go and having fun produces adrenaline which will let your imagination go wild. A Break from your usual routine will get you out of your schedule rut.
By following these simple steps and letting your creativeness come alive you will be able to captivate your audience into reading what ever it is that you decide to write. Your creativeness will make use of all of your experiences and you can be sure that your imagination will be forced into overdrive.
