Scotsman AFE424A-1 Description

 

The Scotsman AFE424A-1A is an air-cooled undercounter ice maker. This model makes flake ice, often used for seafood and produce displays, making this ice machine ideal for grocery stores. At 39 inches tall, this unit can fit easily under a 40-inch counter, and the sliding door on the front makes one-handed access easy in a busy kitchen. The included power cord makes installation simple so your machine can begin producing up to 395 pounds of ice per day, filling the 80-pound storage bin quickly to keep up with your demands.

 

This ice machine is made to make service and cleaning as simple as possible. The exterior is made of durable plastic, which means you never have to worry about corrosion. All airflow is conducted through the front of the machine, and the air filter is front-mounted so that it can be easily removed and cleaned. All additional maintenance can be completed through the front of the machine after the three-piece cabinet is removed, making service calls faster due to the limited machine movement needed. The included 6-inch legs ensure that you can easily clean under the machine, making it easy for you to maintain a sanitary work environment.
