That was the immediate reaction when news first surfaced about the tragic events that unfolded Saturday night on a dirt track at Canandaigua Motorsports Park.

But there it was on the car radio upon leaving University of Phoenix Stadium after having covered the Cardinals' 32-0 preseason rout of the Texans.

A witness who was at the track's Empire Super Sprints series said NASCAR driver Tony Stewart had run over another driver who had gotten out of his car to confront the racing veteran.
