How to Be a Successful Retiring Baby Boomer
The goal for most retiring baby boomers is to kick their feet up, relax after 40 plus years of work, enjoy a little bit of their lives, socialize with their friends and enjoy their grandchildren. Unfortunately, so much has happened with the economy and poor financial planning that most are seeing themselves working longer or having to work full time even though they are eligible for their social security.
So how can you still be successful even against the odds? Are they doomed to a retirement where they have to scrimp on every penny? The answer is no and here is how they can change the stars. It's called network marketing. Even though retiring baby boomers don't want to look at new careers options at this point in their life; network marketing offers a few key elements that otherwise they may not get at the rate they are going.
Time FreedomThe beauty of running your own business (and network marketing is your OWN business) is of course a tax write off, but there are so many other benefits that extend past that. Time freedom is what all baby boomers have been working their whole life to get to and with one drop of the economy or wrong move financially they have seen their whole 401K and pensions practically disappear into thin air. You are lucky in the regards that you will actually still get to take advantage of social security which is what you have paid into for your entire working lives. The disadvantage of that is that you will be living on about 1/3 of what you made. With medical expenses going up along with life expectancy, this can equal disaster unless you have a plan B.Network marketing offers a great plan B even if you start your business at age 65. It offers you the opportunity to learn new skills that may be useful to you. There are several mlm tools available these days to learn network marketing both on and offline. It offers an opportunity to make the extra income and a residual income that you may need or lost potentially in the bad economy.Your Social ClubFor most baby boomers that are retiring, a lot of them wonder if they will get bored in their retirement. This is one of the reasons we see those who really don't need to work still doing it. Most retiring people are used to activity in their life. Network marketing is such a social option. It is all about building lasting relationships with people and getting out and being social while making money and being able to do all those things in your retirement that you dreamed of doing.So overall, if you are looking for a few hundred to a few thousand extra dollars a month, network marketing is a smart option for retiring baby boomers. It will keep you social, active and it will help put you in a stronger financial position so you can live the way you would like to.
