Richard Poe, in his book, Wave 4, talks about the power of duplication and how successful MLM and network marketers build their businesses.  This book makes for good reading.  The doubling principle and duplication methods are one in the same as far as I am concerned.  If you double you duplicate your efforts and if you duplicate you double your efforts as well.

One of my former marketing mentors used to begin all of his training sessions by asking this question.  "What if I offered you at this moment a million dollars in cash or offered you a penny doubled every day for a month.  Which would you choose?  Of course without even giving it a thought most said they wanted the million in cash and went on to babble about how they would put that million to work for them.  To want the million dollars up front as opposed to the doubling of the penny caused some extra activity to take place in my brain.  I said to myself the million is too easy - it has to be the penny.  He explained the odyssey of doubling the penny each day.  You do the math.  I will say that at the end of the month (thirty days) the everyday doubling of the penny came to a grand total of $5,368,709.12, and on the 31day a astonishing $10,737,418.24 .  This is duplication in its highest form.  So, again, which would you choose?  I rest my case.

Let's keep this in the forefront of our minds.  If we are in business, we are an outlet. We have the ability to set up our own distribution system just as Ray Kroc and the other and continue always to adopt the mentality of opening new outlets.  We can use the duplication and doubling principle to build a giant 12sec business, MLM or marketing network.  All it takes is you teaching a person the power of duplication and they do the same, the rest is history.
