Making mistakes in business/life
can be the best way to
discover what works and
what does not.
In fact, making mistakes
is essential as it can mean the difference between reaching success and
perpetually failing.
Most people are afraid to
make mistakes and as
a result let this fear of
failure paralyze them from taking action on an opportunity to start or to grow
their business.
Making mistakes is very
important in success, but whats even more important is learning from them and
better yet learning from others who have come before you so that you can avoid
the same mistakes that they made and get on to success more quickly.
We all have made countless mistakes over our many years in
successful business and We've
learned from them all as
well as from many others
who came before us and was
successful in business
and willing to share.
This
is one of the biggest secrets in reaching success.
It's known through many inner
circles as the "Mastermind
concept" which is THE MOST POWERFUL concept known to man for succeeding in
any endeavor. (We'll talk
more on that in a later issue) For now, let me share one of the biggest
mistakes to avoid in business and how to avoid it...
So, you've made your contacts with the companies and
special agents that are
responsible for assigning the
deal in your area that need to
be serviced.
You receive your first assignment and you or someone
on your behalf arrives at the property to find that it
is an utter mess. You begin
having the property serviced.
You close up shop after the first day and plan to return
the next day to finish up.
When you or someone on your behalf arrives at the property,
You find that someone has
graciously dumped more debris on
the property and you will not be able to complete the property
on time per guidelines. What do you do?
Do you call and inform the representative that you need
more time? OR do you just hire more help and complete the job on time anyway?
My recommendation to you as a Realtor in the industry is
to proceed and finish the job on
time by any means necessary
(Unless it is literally a catastrophe) and just document and
inform the representative AFTER the fact.
Being new, and just making
things happen when problems
arise will set you apart
completely from most other company owners and will impress the representative.
This will earn their trust and respect and will literally catapult you into
more profits very quickly.
Be on the lookout for other mistakes to avoid that will
keep you in the green!
