Have you ever been in a slump?

Recently I found that I was getting
down on myself, I was in a slump�

I was missing something vital in my life.
(More on that in a minute)

Things weren�t �flowing� as they normally
do and I started to get the feeling like I
was pushing a snowball up a large mountain.

I put a lot of stress on myself by
committing to grandiose projects and
pushing my businesses to the absolute limit.

I don�t really have to push like this but
I have very high expectations, almost
to a fault.

You see when you have these high
expectations and sometimes you fall short
something critical happens and if it�s not
immediately recognized and dealt with(Cancer)
you can quickly find yourself, like I did, in a slump.

So what was this vital thing I was missing in my life that
I forgot to practice?

That�s right!

GRATITUDE!!!

Gratitude is the most vital practice we need to commit
to doing EVERY DAY.

(Other than praying and connecting with GOD)

It has been proven in recent studies that practicing daily gratitude can dramatically increase happiness, well being, health, perspective and
mental health including clarity and focus.

Now from a scientific standpoint, when we�re happy, the neurotransmitter, dopamine is released in the brain.

Dopamine not only affects an overall sense of well being,
but it increases our capacity to learn, be creative, and
experience increased levels of vibrancy.

In fact, �Your brain at positive is 31% more productive
than your brain at negative, neutral, or stressed.�

This is pretty powerful stuff wouldn�t you say?
So please be �happy�.
So let me ask you this?

How�s it going?

Are you happy?

Are you in a slump?

If so try this exercise.

Everyday, preferably in the morning, spend 5 minutes
writing down everything you�re grateful for.  It could be
your health, your family, the compliment you just received or you could even be grateful for this blog.

Just spend 5 minutes each day writing everything you�re grateful for consistently over the next 30 days.

You�ll see an astonishing �shift� in every part of your life.  Health, wealth and happiness.

What more could you want, right?

So here�s what I�m grateful for today�

YOU, being in my life and reading and listening to my stuff, my relationship with God, my children, my
amazing wife, which is the best thing that ever happened to me.
My in laws, my businesses and my health and well being.
(This is just a start)

list take a minute and �bask� in it and really feel the appreciation.

You will feel much better, I promise.
