How To Improve Your Social Media Marketing With A Facebook Page

Social media marketing is here to stay and Facebook is a large part of social media. One way to improve your marketing is with a Facebook page.

Fans.

With your page fans are accumulated instead of friends. You can import your Twitter and blog feeds. You can also post and collect content, have hosting discussions and collect user reviews.

Commitment.

Do not let the excitement over your page die down. Commit yourself to updating at least a few times a week. If you do not, your followers are going to feel neglected and they may stop being fans. Once you set up a page, you have to be committed to its maintenance.

Never make the mistake of starting a Facebook page and thinking that it will run itself. It takes a lot of hard work to create a solid fan base on Facebook, so only begin a page if you expect to see it through. If it is more than you can handle, you should look for other ways to market your business.

Like.

Pay attention to what is going on with your page. If someone "likes" your page, send them a thank you message. Respond if people comment on things on your page. Little messages from you will make a big impact on the way things work out for you. It can be time consuming, but well worth it.

Theme.

Make sure your Facebook page has a clear theme. If you sell moccasins, all images and text should be focused on, well, moccasins. It should mention all the variations, etc. Brand the whole page so people know what they're getting once there.

Images.

Avoid using images on your Facebook page that are generic. Many brands post stock photos and pictures of the business logo. While having one or two pictures like this is acceptable, people want to see real photos. You should also encourage users to post their relevant photos on your page.

Logo.

Include your logo in your profile photo on your Facebook page. Don't change it too
frequently as it is what your fans will associate with your brand, therefore highlighting your posts in their news feed. If you continually change it, they may become confused and ignore your posts

Contests.

A fun and easy way to get followers on your Facebook page is to create a contest. Loyal followers will share their contest entry with their own followers and spread the word quickly. The prize doesn't have to be anything big, a sample product or small cash reward can be enough to spread the word.

Complaint.

If you have a fan complaining on your Facebook page, try your best to resolve the issue publicly,  without the need to argue. This will let others know that you are reputable and will handle all of your obligations.

Whether you like Facebook or not, it's too big to ignore. Instead, take advantage of it.

Live should be fun enjoy it!
