Did Facebook Screw me on my Birthday?
There is a wonderful world of Facebook marketing that I got to experience for only a short time. It was truly a feeling of achievement to market online and have what I wanted displayed on my profile and to enjoy the entertainment of others. Well my Facebook profile marketing all ended 4 days ago and of all days on my Birthday!! By the way, that was a very special day for me. Reaching four decades came so fast it was hard to believe that I�m not may parents little girl anymore but a grown woman. I never really thought about that before even though I�ve been married for over 12 years now, it just seemed like and feels by the way that I�m literally grown up.
That day on Facebook
My short time of being a member of Facebook has taught me a few things. One thing I have learned is to never repost any pictures on Facebook that sensationalize tragedy, or crime to profit and benefit from the bad fortune of someone else. Well you don�t have to worry about me doing any of that and especially on my �Special Day.� On 6 October, that unique, fantastic and beautiful day was filled with sending out my �Thank You�s� on Facebook to those wishing me a Great Birthday and let me tell you it was exciting!!! I sent a Raggae �Happy Birthday� song on Facebook to let others enjoy the day with me. It was great plus my husband invited his friends over to celebrate the day with me and he put together a great party and it was all dedicated to �Me�.

Doesn�t it make you want to dance? Well I certainly did dance and for being in such a great mood was �Liking� all the ads on Facebook that appealed to me and in exchange that they �Like� my post in the process since �Liking� is just as effective in the news Feed.
I tried not to work too much on my Birthday but since I have an Android phone, I could check on Facebook at anytime. I thought about spending money to market online since it was my Birthday and was I feeling great but I would have been targeting people who were not interested in what I was offering so it would have been a waste of money and time, PLUS it was the 1st day of the week, Sunday and most people are not on Facebook that day. Since Facebook makes it easy to target your audience, I chose not to take advantage of it that day.
My Chicago Bears Played on my Birthday and I posted it on Facebook!!!
I usually make regular posts on my Facebook page and now that NFL season is around I definitely try to put my Chicago Bears on display especially on the day they play. My goal was to set up a schedule for �value market posting� that meets my personal and business purpose for the Facebook page, and stick to it. I have to admit sometimes I miss a day or two which is not good for business by the way. My goal was also to ensure to post quality value and not nonsense when I market so that my audience and readers can enjoy useful information. Even though the Chicago Bears played and lost, at least I was able to enjoy the game on my big screen TV which is not usually the case but since none of the Texas games played during the time my �Bears� played I got to watch the game on my TV.
Well with all that said, it was late afternoon that all of a sudden I could no longer see my Facebook Profile, Timeline, Newsfeed, or groups I joined to include friends I made. What happened? I don�t know that�s for sure. Sent a ticket to Facebook help desk and no reply. I have not violated anything that was against Facebook guidelines as I rehash my day over and over again. The only thing I do have access to is my Fanpage which may be the perfect solution to what I need to focus on right now and for the next 90 days. Until my Facebook is restored to normal take a look at my Fanpage and give me a �Like� if you will..
