Perhaps I�ve finally come to the realization that if I truly want to start my own business and seriously get it going in online marketing that it would require a lot of things, and to get straight to the point, �Yes you need money honey�. To make money unfortunately requires money and since the internet is so resourceful and versatile, there are many ways to help optimize the potential of your business in generating traffic.

There are a number of ways to get your traffic juice flowing for free, but many sites don�t have the resources that others have to generate more traffic to your site. I�ve had plenty of experience using traffic exchanges and mailers for free and although traffic does go to your site using these avenues, they are not reliable because you are required to view other people�s websites in order to gain credit. So, it would require you to get into the trenches and muster up the drive and perseverance to do hard work and research to generate more traffic for your site.

Just to put it out there, freebies do not always mean quality or quick results so it may take a good while with free methods but you should have a fighting chance with what I�m about to tell you:

1. Take advantage of online forums and online communities.

a. Target a certain group that fits the certain demographic that you are looking for.

b. Know what you are getting into and be prepared.

c. Build a reputation and with the people in your expertise and knowledge.

d. Provide people with a catalog of your products and interesting and entertaining articles.

2. Trade links with other sites and you don�t have to spend a cent!

a. The efforts will benefit both sites especially when both sites feature the same niche.

b. Every traffic that goes to the site could potentially click your link and visit your site as well.

3. Write articles that could pique the attention of people that have interest in your product

a. Provide tips and guides

b. Provide good service and knowledge to other people

c. Provide the necessary mileage your traffic flow needs

Content, Content, Content

Write good content for your site. Many search engines track down the keywords and keyword phrases your site uses and how they are used. When I am looking for something, I always use search engines to find what I�m looking for so know that other people are to. With the right keywords, you could get high rankings in search engine results without the costs.

All of these methods and more will drive more traffic to your site for free. All it takes is a bit of effort. Learn all you can about the methods I provided here and you will soon have a site with a great traffic flow without the usual costs that can come with it.
