I think all of us have reasons to be concerned about the operation of our public schools when you see the shocking reports with regards to �The Common Core� and the �Pledge Of Allegiance� to  Our old faithful US Of A American Flag.

When the grading curve is so bent that an academic grade of �C� puts the student on the honor roll there is something bad wrong with the admin and the teachers.

It is also reported that teachers not wanting to have the pledge of allegiance are complaining about not having enough time to do the pledge. Reciting the pledge was timed and found to take all of 12 seconds. This makes me believe that we really do need longer school days.
