Marketing Tip # 1 - Google Search

What we are about to share with you in Tip # 1 is going to be a "Game Changer!" If you implement this one Marketing Tip into your daily list of activities, never again will you be able to say; "I do not know where to promote my site".

The idea here is really simple, do a "Google Search" for the name of any other business opportunity that you have heard of or that was sent to you, or you can do a search for key words related to making money online. Your search results will give you a long list of places where people are promoting their business. As you look at each of these places, the question you need to ask yourself is; "Can I Promote Here Too?".

You are basically learning where to promote by observing where other people are promoting. It doesn't get any simpler than that, and it's something anyone can do!

Ok! Now that you know what to do, here's exactly how you do it!

1. Do a Google Search for the name of any program.

2. "Right Click" on the link for each search result and open it in a new tab. This way you do not lose your main search page.

3. Take a quick look at the page that opens and see if it is a place that you can promote your site!

4. If it is, copy the URL to that page and paste it into a Microsoft Word Document. It's best if you paste it into Microsoft Word, because when you go back later all you have to do is hold down on your Control Key (Ctrl) and click on the URL and it opens in a new window.

5. So you would go through all the search results on the first 5 - 10 pages, and copy all the URL's that look like they could be a good place to promote and paste them into your Microsoft Word Document.

6. After you get your URL list compiled, go back over each one to take a closer look to see if this is a place you can use to promote. Keep the good ones, delete the bad ones.

7. Before you promote at any site make sure you check to see if there are any rules, and make sure you follow them.

8. For every place you promote you must use the TRAXad Ad Tracker on it, because that's the only way you will know if it's getting you hits.

9. You should also be using the DSP Desktop Daytimer to keep yourself organized. With this tool you will know exactly where and when you posted last, when you can post again, and the TRAXad Portal URL you need to use at that site.

10. Every different program you do a search on will result in many different places you can promote. Just do not get caught up in evaluating other programs. There are two types of people on the; The Hunters and The Hunted. Guess which ones make all the money? Correct, it's The Hunters! When you start wasting time evaluating other programs you become The Hunted again!

11. By using this marketing technique you will build a huge list of marketing resources that are all 100% Free!

12. Of course this marketing technique should not be your only source of promoting, but one of many!

Social Networking and Blogging has become a very popular form of promoting, and it's one that should not be over looked. There are many different Social Networks out there like FaceBook.com, MySpace, YouTube, Ning, Twitter, just to name a few. We recommend you join all these Social Networking Sites.

I did a quick Google Search for Social Networking and found lots of Social Networking Site, one of them was called Find a Social Network, and at that site I did a search for Home Business where I found links to 610 Social Networking sites and or Groups.
