The old American Indian phrase that is the title of this piece means to speak in a dishonest manner. The Native American who first uttered it had ample reason for his observation having been swindled out of land and resources more than once. But long before his day, as far back as the Garden of Eden of Biblical times the Father of lies caused the entire earth and all its inhabitants to be cursed with just one lie-and it continues to this day.

In a far more contemporary analysis, Author Paul Johnson in his book "Enemies of Society" states it this way:

"A man who deliberately inflicts violence on the language will almost certainly inflict violence on human beings if he acquires the power. Those who treasure the meaning of words will treasure truth and those who bend words to their purposes are very likely in pursuit of anti-social ones. The correct and honorable use of words is the first and natural credential of civilized status."

Today it seems we are inundated with lies and half truths at every turn such as "If you like your plan you can keep your plan" among others. Both businesses and politicians and some cases even churches seem to not be adverse to speaking with that forked tongue and it leaves us with a feeling of paranoid apprehension about most of it.

Fortunately there are still those whose word is their bond in business and personally.  Hobby Lobby is one example that comes to mind for me as far as business is concerned and Dr. Ben Carson is a man of strong personal integrity. It's easy to see and hear every time he appears somewhere.

When it comes to online business ventures there are two that I've come in contact with that exemplify honesty and integrity. There are hundreds of web sites online that promise you the world on a silver platter with no contribution from you at all and they're all phony, pie-in-the-sky operations whose sole purpose is to relieve you of your hard earned cash and leave you with nothing to show for it. However click on the links below and see a couple that are straight up and in it for their people and not just themselves. How many have you seen use this approach?

And if you're looking for someplace where you can invest a few bucks and watch it grow safely everyday you can't beat this one. I'm seeing an 8% ROI (Return On Investment) in just four days and it increases from there as more is invested..

There ARE honest, profitable ways to do business with the billions of online   folks today, just ask Amazon or Ebay for starters.

I'm a retiree living on SS and a little part time work so I don't spend money easily ('cept for a few beers, lol).Trust me, these two look like solid investments.
