Darryl Graham's $500,000.00 Mistake

This is a short story of how Darryl Graham (the founder of the 12SC Online Marketing tools suite) lost well over $500,000 during his first 4 years of trying to work online.

Hi, my name's Darryl Graham and I'm just a regular person who chose to work online-just like you. I came online with the same dreams and desires that a lot of people do and I made the same mistakes that a lot of people do. One of them was a HUGE mistake!

Now, I have the opportunity to help people avoid the mistakes that cost me a lot of money and I spend my days helping others do just that.

I started online in 1999 after having spent a lot of years in corporate marketing. The money was great but the time away from home and the hours I spent working for a company that was not mine really started to get to me.

In June of 1999, I gave my notice and headed for the wonderful world of the Internet to make my fortune...

I won't go into all the gory details of my initial failures and believe me there were plenty of them. The reason for this page is to impress on you the importance of starting to build your own prospect list and never stopping.

Even way back in 1999, the people making money were telling others they needed to build their prospect list if they wanted to make good money online and I've now been a very satisfied client of his foor over seven years,.

Being a little stubborn-actually being a lot stubborn and not being able to see the big picture or the reason for this so called prospect list, I chose to ignore everyone who knew a lot more than I did about Internet Marketing.

I simply refused to use an Autoresponder and start building my list and I figured I could just advertise something and the money would flow into my bank account and I could prove everyone wrong.

Well, to make a long story short, I was the only one who was wrong and while others had money flowing into their bank account, I only had money flowing out of mine.

I had an associate who came online about the same time as me and we were working together on a variety of things and he kept telling me I needed to build a prospect list and I kept ignoring him as well.

Finally he had enough of me and went off and started doing his own thing with his list that he had been building.

A couple years later he had made over $500,000, while I had made about $0. I know this to be true as we used the same programmers and even my programmers had been telling me to start building my list.

Well, after seeing the money was in the list and knowing that it could have been me that made the $500,000+ I made the decision to start building my list and also to create my own Autoresponder and help everyone who is serious about making money online, build their list.

Had I listened to the others who were hammering me with the truth and telling me to build my prospect list, I too, could have made over $500,000 in those early years and probably a whole lot more, but since I did not listen to reason and do the one thing that was making others extremely wealthy, I lost more than half a million dollars.

By the way, the investment my associate made in his Autoresponder at the time was around $700 per year and he made over $500,000 in just a few of years so do you think he worried about spending $2,100 to make $500,000?

NO is the answer to that question and there is nobody with a half a brain who would not do the same thing-well nobody but me, so back then I could have been called half brain Darryl and the title would have been perfect...

Now, understand that not everyone is going to make $500,000 because not everyone is willing to work hard and do what is necessary. Unfortunately there are people who want to spend a few minutes a day on their business and think they can make tons of money.

And think about is this: What if you only made $50,000 in 3 years and it cost you a couple thousand dollars to accomplish this. Would you think that is a bad investment? NO of course not and that's $50,000 more than you'll make if you don't start building your own prospect list.

Now you have a decision to make about your future and you're here because you want to make money online. Maybe you'll use 12SC and maybe you won't, but even if you don't, you need to get an Autoresponder and a way to make capture pages and a way to track your ads and links and you need to build your list, promote your capture pages and track your ads.

There are multiple services that provide the different things you need online, however there is only one place where you can get everything you need at a price you can afford and make absolutely excellent money at the same time.

Don't make my mistake, don't think you don't need a list and don't think you will build your list overnight or that you will just keep trying what you've been doing.

What you've been doing is not working or you would not be here.
