Rule number one for you is to not fall victim to the sites promising instant success or instant riches.  The deceptive tactics are used to lure you into believing you can get rich quickly, easily and for free while all those places are doing is building their own list that they can sell to others.

As a test I subscrembed to a site that said it was totally free and told people they could make thousands in weeks.  I used a new email address that had never been used before and a fake name, so I could monitor what they did with my email address.

In the 3 days that I stayed subscrembed at their site, I received over 170 emails from the admin trying to sell me everything you can imagine.

After I removed my email address from that site, I continued receiving emails from over a dozen other sites that I had never heard of.

The site that was totally free and was going to make me thousands was only a front and the owner sold my email address many times and probably made $15 - $20 by selling my email address to spammers.

Multiply that $15 - $20 by the thousands of people who fall victim to the get rich quick and easy hype every month and you can see they are making decent money.  The problem is they are only hurting others and the sad part is, they just don't care...

Fortunately I could just close down the email account and everything stopped but most people are not that lucky and they use their main email and once they do that, they will never stop being spammed.

You can absolutely make money online, but it's called working online for a reason and you will have to put some effort into your business.
If you keep signing up for every free to make money program on the Internet, you will never achieve the results you desire and you will keep running in circles and spinning your wheels on an elusive dream that will never come true.

I see sites all the time in pre-launch or that just launched where they show people making 5 digits.  How can they make that much money if the site just launched or worse yet, it is still in pre-launch?  The answer is they can't and they are all part of the same good ole boy and girl network and let me explain how this works.

Person A will create a program and get his/her group of marketers that have been online and have their own prospect list and Person A gives them a free account in the new program.  All the marketers will then send person A a testimonial about how great the new site is--most will never use the site at all.

Then they will all send emails to their prospect list telling them to buy the new program from Person A and they will tell you how great it is and how much money they are making from it.

Well of course, they are going to make money because they have a prospect list and they never paid for the service.  People see the site being promoted and think they too can make all this money because the good ole boys and girls are telling them they can.

People buy the new program and are then left holding the bag and they never make a dime.  The marketers with the list and Person A make all the money because they had the prospect list.

Next Person B creates a new program and gets the group of marketers with prospect lists to get on board with his/her new program.  They all do the same thing again with Person A now in the group of marketers providing testimonials and promoting the new program from Person B.

This process continues and never ends as each of the marketers with lists will take their turn creating some new program and selling it to people who can never make a dime with it.

You will see the same names and testimonials from the same people on programs around the Internet.  These people could care less about you or anyone as all they care about is making money at your expense.
