Sometimes it just tough to be or get inspired! Especially when you're tired and need to keep going to meet your day, or goals, and I know just how that feels!
One evening I was needing to be re inspired. So I was looking at the documentary section in Netflix and I came across John Wooden the UCLA coach's interview Netflix : John Wooden: Values, Victory and Peace of Mind . I watched this and wanted to share with you, because I became so inspired and reconnected to all that mattered to me and wanted to share it because sometime you just need to be reminded what youre up to and who you can be for yourself and others. In this video you see a man who is 90 years old telling his story giving you life lessons and a model to apply to your life for being a success as a human being both on the court and off. Being the best you can be, because in the end you are the one who has to look at you in the mirror. He was a real mentor to all the young men who played basketball some very well know, like Phil Jackson, Bill Walton and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who affirm Wooden's recipe for success. They have not only won on the court but in life, now that is true success.
Don't miss this one it is well worth the time. John Wooden shares his practical, values-based secrets -- to achieving success. Which are not just applicable to sports, these tips can help enhance every aspect of ones personal and professional life.
If you need someone to model after, take John Wooden he was a man that walked his talk and listen to his heart, applied what he learned. He gained the wisdom by applying his knowledge and living by his values setting and being the example. We must keep reminding ourselves about putting the things we are taught into action here at 12Second Commte . John Wooden took boys and created men out of them I believe we are doing the same here.
John Wooden was a great man, a man that still lives because of the huge contribution and example that he was to the world. I can only hope to be such an inspiration of wisdom and knowledge and hope to give it all away to all that I encounter while working with Empower Network and all the people I will be working with in my future.
If you watch the video or have seen it I would love to hear your comments.
