Romans 11:33 (KJV)
33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
Reflections:
Oft times we hear the expression, the devils in the details meaning watch out for the small print, or the small points often overlooked or taken for granted.
We see this moral, social and political prestidigitation (the hand is quicker than the eye) in the news on a daily basis. Ah, yes the devil never tires of his fanatical and sinister attacks against mankind. It seems that no matter what is done to try and counter it things only get worse.
But for us, Gods special called-out people we find a very different reality going on behind lifes scenes. It absolutely amazes me how God can be so precise in the details of our lives; and mostly when we dont even expect it. It seems His skillful and loving hands protect, lead and guide us always. He is ever so faithful, even alas, when we are not.
Now on the other hand it also amazes me how He seemingly ignores my most specific and urgent, on the surface, prayer requests; not answering, or prolonging the answers, so that its hard to even come close to tracking His moves. I suppose if faith became sight all the time, then where would be the need for faith.
Yes, but its those little, behind the scenes, dangling carrots, the good details of life, that keep us moving forward, ever looking upward in faith while He works out those, what we consider to be, the larger and more important prayer requests of ours.
His ways are just not our ways. Great is Thy Faithfulness; how unsearchable are Your judgments, and your ways past finding out!

Peter P. responded to yesterday "Bible Portion for Today" regarding keeping a record of wrongs:
God's Spirit led me to read this today because He knew I was dealing with condemnation this morning I had no idea why but He made it clear. HE keeps no record of wrongs when we confess, even when our hearts condemn us. Life is not based on our feelings but on His truths, we must not be afraid to stand! Then we see the peace that we truly have in Christ. Amen.
