 13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
         That I would see the goodness of the LORD
         In the land of the living.
         
 14 Wait on the LORD;
         Be of good courage,
         And He shall strengthen your heart;
         Wait, I say, on the LORD!

Reflections:

What comes screaming through this verse to me is �Don�t give up!!!� Help is on the way! God would say, �I know the valley has been painfully low and the way out seems so rough and high, but if you endure I will make of you a climber of mountains. I will cause you to stand on the high places, and to be used mightily in My service.�

�You have felt my presence even in the valley of weeping. You�ve drunk of the water of life from the pools of blessing I placed there for you along the way (Ps 84:6). It is most important for you to know that I tempt no man with evil (Jas 1:13). I am the Savior, not the fowler (John 10:10). Hold fast, it won�t be long before you emerge from what has seemed a horrible pit (Ps 40:2).�
