Reflections:
Rejection is perhaps the most destructive emotional force that Satan ever conjured up. For with it he can reduce a young child to emotional ashes for the rest of their lives. He is the destroyer of emotions and will stop at nothing to weave his vicious web of demonic strongholds within the children of mankind.
Perhaps, as an adult, you�ve been crying out to God and your right at the doorway to your freedom from rejection (it�s always feels darkest just before the dawn) and the only thing holding you back is the prospect of unresolved pain. You want it to be resolved so that you can move on with your life. But truth be known it might not begin to resolve until you make that final, life altering choice to follow Jesus without reservation; without looking back.
It must always be remembered that �we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Eph 6:12).� We must break with the darkness in our soul and if that means breaking with relationships that have been influenced by that darkness, then our response must be, �So be it!�
A spiritual line must be drawn in the sand of life and we must be willing to cross it, once and for all, if we�re ever to be unencumbered enough to follow Christ. Our verses today point out that Jesus himself went through what you�re going through; the rejection, the grief, the sorrow, being despised and misunderstood and he DEFEATED IT ALL!!!
Our legacy in Christ is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Why not make that final desperate choice to receive your full inheritance in Christ, by faith, right now, today � !
