Isaiah 55:1 (King James Version)
1Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
Reflections:
Jesus may have had this verse in mind when He encountered the woman at the well in the 4th chapter of the Gospel of John where He said, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
When God created mankind He placed eternity in His heart. Consider this verse:
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men's hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy] (Eccl 3:11a Amplified).
All men thirst in their heart for God (even atheists). Some deny God even His existence, but when push comes to shove all men reach up.
God, through the Holy Spirit, has provided living water and a full spiritual provision to all who would come to Him through the sacrifice of His dear Son; the Lord Jesus Christ! Its our job to make the offer

Sheryl commented on yesterday's "Bible Portion for Today" regarding being Spirit wrought:
After being a Christian for 15+ years I finally understand Romans 5:4 (4And endurance develops maturity of character. And character produces joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation.), previously I would look at the verse and I did get it (in my head), I knew it was true, but I felt there was more to it. I was lacking experiencing it in my own life. However because of the trials I've most recently experienced I now *really* get it, it has dropped into my heart and will be etched there, forever changing who I am, all for my own good. Praise His holy name!
