7 Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?
8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there: If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall fall on me, Even the night shall be light about me;
12 Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You.
Reflections:
If I had to sum all this up Id say, You can run, but you cant hide! Many have tried to run like Jonah (Jonah 1-4), but to no avail.
If God has a call on our life (whether we like it or not) we would save ourselves a lot of time, energy and frustration by just giving into Gods plan. He can be incredibly persistent and very persuasive.
There are those of us to whom this applies this very day, today. Perhaps God is calling you to something that you simply do not want to do and you have chosen to run rather than obey.
Just remember, God will never call you to do something without providing everything you need to fulfill His call. Fear not! For God is with you even if you find you must pass through deep waters, or the fire, to fulfill your calling (Isa 43:2). Just dont run, beloved dont run
