He hears us!

14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.



Reflections:


Have you ever looked up and said, �Lord, do you really hear me when I pray? Well, according to our first verse today there is only one condition, and if we meet that one condition, He hears us! It�s that simple!



The condition is that it must be something �according to His will.� If we ask for something He desires, He hears us. A prayer like, �Change my heart oh God; make me more like you� definitely applies, as this is His desire for us.



This is a very important truth because if we have confidence that He hears us, we can then enter into rest and not strive in that which we�ve prayed for. And guess what, if He hears us we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.



God didn�t make asking for things hard, He made it easy as long as it�s according to His will. In this way, He always hears us �
