Psalm 139:14-16 (KJV)
14I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. 15My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
Reflections:
Should we question Gods design for our lives? Or rather by faith should we thank Him for who we will become in Him -- if we rest in Him and not strive.
We shouldnt try to fly until we get feathers. To try and keep up with the spiritual Joness or to attempt to be someone were not is really kind of sad dont you think? You and I are so special to God, just like we are (minus sin of course).
Just because were saved doesnt mean we have to pass through the spiritual cookie cutter machine so that we all come out acting and sounding the alike.
Why cant we just be ourselves in Christ? Being a new creation in Christ, along with our unique personality, is valued by God especially once we learn the Word of God and are sanctified by the Holy Spirit. And how else can we reach all the different types of unique folks out there?
I just gotta be me!!! How bout you?
