it�s all about �making right choices� -- right � ?

Psalm 1:3 (NKJV)

3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.


Reflections:

Everyone wants what this verse presents; a productive � healthy � prosperous life. Unfortunately not all Christians are enjoying such a life. So what�s the secret?


Verse 1 and 2 in this Psalm show us the rungs of the ladder with which to reach these blessings:

        Don�t walk in the advice of the ungodly

        Don�t fellowship with unbelievers

        Don�t learn their negative scornful ways.

        Delight in God�s Law and meditate on it throughout the day and night.


As New Testament Christians we can substitute the �Law� with grace, but there is no substitute for making right choices and for hungering and thirsting after God.


We can all be that tree by the rivers of water � it�s all about �making right choices�  -- right � ?
