Luke 11:14-20 (NKJV)ScreenHunter_02 Sep. 14 19.06.gif

14 And He was casting out a demon, and it was mute. So it was, when the demon had gone out, that the mute spoke; and the multitudes marveled. 15 But some of them said, He casts out demons by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.
16 Others, testing Him, sought from Him a sign from heaven. 17 But He, knowing their thoughts, said to them: Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and a house divided against a house falls. 18 If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? -- 20 But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Reflections:

We mustnt get our kingdoms mixed up. There is a kingdom of darkness operated by Satan, and there is the Kingdom of heaven operated by God.

Many blame God for what goes on in the kingdom of darkness and fail to truly understand the principles that govern the kingdom of light. God is not responsible for the war-horror, sickness, sadness and hopelessness that so permeates this world. Many look up and shake their fists at God blaming Him for standing by and allowing it all to happen.

We fail to remember that Jesus willingly entered a sin-darkened hostile world; a world that he was not responsible for and threw a lifeline into the sea of sinful humanity offering rescue from its troubled waters. Those of us who have reached out for it have been saved and have found the kingdom of God to be a gracious, kind and loving kingdom.

Many of us have given our all to Christ to further advance such a beautiful kingdom whose loving king gave His life for us. There is no darkness in this kingdom; only light. God has done His part. The rest is up to humanity to reach up for His free and loving life-saving gift of salvation in Jesus Christ. This is where we come in
