Genesis 1:1 (King James Version)
1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (The whole of chapter one is just incredible. It�s a must read if you have the time.)
26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Reflection:
The account of creation is nothing short of spectacular. It is against the backdrop of this magnificent tapestry of God�s handiwork that He created man to reflect His holy character and divine nature to all the earth. How blessed we are to be a reflection of His image; to be called by His name, and to be used for His glory. Shouldn�t our response be today to do whatever it is that He calls us to do, and to do it with all our heart, mind and strength?
