Ephesians 3:12 (AMP)
12 In Whom, because of our faith in Him, we dare to have the boldness (courage and confidence) of free access (an unreserved approach to God with freedom and without fear).
Reflections:
How God must love us! He has an open-door policy towards us and gives us free access to himself always. This means Hes always attentive to our cry and hears our faintest of prayers.
Imagine a former President of the United States in a busy high level security meeting with high ranking officials all around him. All of a sudden the large door to the presidents chamber squeaks slowly open. A little boy makes his way by all the official big brass, runs up to where the president is sitting and crawls up into his lap where his dad looks down at him and asks him gently what he wants.
The president loved his little child so much that the child always felt the freedom to approach him at anytime knowing that his dad would always make time for him.
I personally take great confidence in knowing that when I pray God always hears me. I will even sometimes say out loud, Father, I know that you hear me. I dont always know how He will answer me, but just knowing that He hears me seems to comfort my heart.
So take heart beloved, and run up to Abba Father, jump up in his lap and let your requests be known to him and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Phil 4:7)
