2 Chronicles 16:9(NKJV)
9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.
John 4:23 (NKJV)
23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
Reflections:
While it is true that we�re saved solely by grace through the unfathomable sacrifice of Jesus freely given, God is looking to us for some things. One of these is loyalty and another is worship; perhaps these are a few of the very reasons mankind was created. God has a longing for fellowship with us, his spiritual children.
When he receives this loyalty and worship from us he shows himself strong on our behalf; coming to our rescue, time and time again. One of His angels constantly watches over us (Ps 34:7). The Holy Spirit springs forth in us, teaching us, leading us and guiding us through the oft complex labyrinths of life.
He also gives us rivers of living water wherein is all we need (Jn 7:38). These rivers provide us with righteousness, peace and joy (Rom 14:17) plus a full provision for our lives (Ps 37:25).
I am so thankful that his eye is always on that little sparrow (that�s you and me) (Lk 12:6-7).
I must provide you with the lyrics to this song written in 1905 by Civilla Martin. It�s entitled,
