 4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.  8All these are the beginning of sorrows. 

Reflections:

This stuff reads like a current day newspaper or news broadcast. Just look at some of the signs of the times:

�         There are false Christ�s (religions) everywhere vying for our attention � trying to deceive even those that are saved.

�         We have wars all around us. Nations are in an uproar. Islamist extremists want to rule the world and will stop at nothing to do so.

�         We are seeing great sorrows, sufferings and unprecedented death on the earth from disease as well as through natural and man-made disasters.

�         Men�s hearts are beginning to fail them because of fear.

�         The earth�s governments are toppling over, one after another. Our nation is weaker than she�s ever been.

�         The sea and the waves are roaring (Tsunamis). 

Luke 21:25-28 (King James Version)

 25And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

 What does it all mean? It means its harvest time beloved � the fields are ripe for harvest! The time is now! This is when we get to shine our lights in the thick darkness of these, the last days. When, we ask, will it all crescendos and finally come to its devastating fulfillment? No one knows, but one thing is for sure, it�s looking and feeling a lot closer than it�s ever looked or felt before  

Just think, perhaps you and I were born for a time such as this; a time that will set the stage for the ushering in of the Son of God in great power and glory. Ah, it�s great to be a Christian and it�s great to be alive in this day and age. Let�s do this harvest with all our heart, mind and strength � together -- in Christ! LET THE CHURCH ARISE!
