Romans 12:1-2 (NKJV)
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Reflections:
I received a letter yesterday from a very dear sister by the name of Rosemary. Over the past few months Rosemarys faith has been tested and tried. The letter was so profoundly beautiful I couldnt help but share an excerpt from it with you:
The last few months have really been a learning experience for me. Closer and closer He comes, and teaches and guides, it's amazing. I feel that God is drawing me further and further away from this world. That although I was separate from the world, He is separating me even more. And Ron, the further I am from it, the better I see it. So dark. His word lives in me, and I hear His voice. Oh Ron, I am in awe of our God and the power of His Spirit that lives in His own. The world does not know Him, but I know Him. wow!
I am at peace with what may come my way. For it is the will of God that I desire. I want to know Him more and more, and to be conformed to the image of Jesus, the son of God.
I dont know about you, but thats more than enough for me to reflect on today
