4 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Reflections:

Unity in the Spirit is everything in the Body of Christ. That�s why the devil spends so much time trying to disrupt and divide it. Unity in the Spirit testifies to the fact that Jesus came. �You say where in the world did you come up with that?�

Well, look here, �That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me (John 17:21).� Unity is the Father�s heart.

Each and every truly born-again brother or sister is joined to one another. The very same spiritual blood runs through our veins. We�ve spent the last fifteen hundred years or so drifting apart. Isn�t it way past time to lift high the banner of unity in spite of man-conceived divisions.

The devil has made divisive doctrines so important that we can no longer fellowship together unless we agree on them. I�d like to share with you the only doctrines that we have to agree on. The rest is up for grabs. I�m going to make a lot of Christian Pharisees really upset with this, but it�s time for unity; not division.

The following verses are Eph 4:1-6: �I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (I broke up the rest of the verses for clarity):

There is one body
and one Spirit
even as ye are called in one hope of your calling
One Lord
one faith
one baptism
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all (Eph 4:1-6).�

Now if this isn�t more than enough to define our unity in Christ then I don�t know what is. As always, feel free to comment �
