3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Reflections:
Ah, the miracle of the new birth. Just think, Jesus took us from carnal rags to spiritual riches in one divine act of selfless sacrifice. His perfect blood has somehow washed us clean of all sin and made us whiter than the purest driven snow.
Did you know that Ezekiel clearly prophesied this approximately 590 years before it took place? Look here:
25 I will also sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your impurities and all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will place My Spirit within you and cause you to follow My statutes and carefully observe My ordinances.
You and I beloved are a new creation; a supernatural product of God, endowed with a brand spanking new nature and a brand new chance at life!
Weve been born AGAIN!
Is it any wonder we have such an insatiable desire to serve the Lord? Perhaps this is our heart-driven attempt at simply saying, Thank you Jesus, for my new life
