This is my family.  I am the one trying to look over the crowd from the back.

My name is Fred Hollinger.  I'm what you would call a simple family man.  This would probably describe about 95% of the men I know.  I've been married for about, oh a long time.  Close to 23 years now.  My wife and I have 6 children ages ranging from 24 down to 5.  (as of the date of this post)  5 of them are boys.  So yes the other would be a girl.

I am also a lover of Jesus Christ.  He is my Rock and my strength.  It is my relationship with Him that gives me the energy and compassion to want to help others.  I have been fortunate over the years to be blessed with meeting people, mostly from the USA but also around the globe, who have the same drive and passion for helping people as my wife and I do.  And the great thing about these people is that they are just regular folks from all walks of life, with amazing stories.  Stories much like mine.  Stories of success and of failures.  I'll be posting some things about my family and the like in this section of my blog as time goes on.

One thing i've noticed in the last 20 years is that time goes by pretty dang fast.   And as my wife says just about every day..."There isn't enough time in the day to get things done."  So how I spend my time is important.  Prioritizing what's important in that time is the catcher.  (Like writing this article)  If helping people is my top priority, I probably need to spend most of my time looking for ways to just that.  How can we help people the best way possible?  What am I good at that I can help make a big difference in someone's life?  These are a couple of the questions that have developed in me, especially in the past couple of years.

As a large family we have seen our times of financial hardships.  Some were bad choices I had made in trying to make ends meet.  (You can read about some of these in my blog posts here)  But there were times when it seemed things were just out of my control.  Like when 2 of my boys decided to have appendicitis within a couple months of each other.  That hit our family hard.  I thank God we have the great doctors and nurses in this country who fixed them up, but talk about a medical bill.  It was about then I decided to look into some ways to make a little extra money from home.

Looking back I can tell you it was a good decision.  It has developed into a great way for us to be able to help others in the same situations we found ourselves in many times.  Over the past year God has led us to a company that is focused on helping people make a life changing income from home.  It is a charity driven business which has the goal of not only changing their members life financially but encouraging their partners to give.  So what I did was take this idea and run with it by creating a Christian Network of people who are focused on helping those in need, and helping families to get out and stay out of the financial rut.  Freeing them up to do those things that our Lord would have them do.
