Make Money...Do Nothing.

This is an interesting concept to say the least.  About 10 years ago, there was actually a website address http://www.makemoneydonothing.com.  Did I try it?  You bet I did!!  The promise of $10,000 a month and all I had to do was give this guy $50 a month and be on a few conference calls?!  Wow.  Was I young and impressionable or what?!

So let's see.  I stuck with it for about 6 months.  Got a few more people to join with me.  (Hey, I wasn't the only gullible guy out there)  Made about $600 through the whole ordeal, and then WHAM...it was over.  So what did I learn?  Well for that time period, try to find another make money do nothing opportunity.  Just for the record, I gave the money I made in that scam back to the people who I brought into it.  They didn't all get their $50 back, but I did what I could.  So anyway on to the next easy money business program. 

After about 4 more years I was beginning to wise up.  Integrity was definitely a trait I held onto through all the learning experiences of network marketing.  My passion, as most people I do business with now a days was trying to find ways to help people make a good income from home.  And time and time again with these get rich quick programs, that was what they were claiming they wanted for their members.  On and on it went.  This program would start up and shut down, another would start and shut down, then another and another and....STOP!!  That was it man!  I was done!

About a year went by.  Things at the job weren't going well.  Layoffs were happening frequently.  Un-employment sucked.  Odd jobs were scarce and finding good full time employment was tough to say the least.  So I decided to start looking into a home based business once again.  But not in such a rush this time.  I spent about another year or so finding people who actually do this stuff from home and are successful at it.  People like me.  Not these in your face salesmen who are making a quick buck and plastered all over the Internet.  I was looking for people who though successful, weren't in the lime light looking for attention.  People who had families, careers, real dreams and aspirations.  People who struggle like my family.  And people who truly care about helping others, not just in it all for themselves.

I found these people everywhere!  From every walk of life.  Some were making tens of thousands of dollars each month!!  And some just a few thousand.  And some were just like me.  Made a little and started over. I can't tell you how cool it was to find people I had never heard of in these opportunities making money from home!  Why couldn't I do this?  You know what they told me right?  "I don't know, why can't you?"  I thought well, I suppose I can.  What I found out may sound so simple and stupid, but for me at the time it was a revelation.

The first step was goal #1.  FIND A LEGITIMATE HOME BASED BUSINESS with a company that had the same similar values and principles I have.  (Coming soon)
